The music examples presented here are compressed audio mp3s suitable for the website but I am able to supply full high-resolution 24-bit or 16-bit wave files on request and I can also provide stem tracks or shortened versions if needed. Naturally I am very happy to write music to fulfill specific requirements regarding style, instrumentation or precise audio durations.

Below are three examples of orchestra pieces in various styles. The first is Fleeing Conflict featuring a trumpet solo with a full orchestra of strings, woodwind, brass and percussion. It sets up an atmosphere of tension as befits the title. The two other examples Grand Entrance and Promenade represent graceful music for a stately occasion or parade and they are also written for full orchestra.

Here are four examples of jazz or funky music. The first is a deep funk tenor sax tune called Das Saxy Funk which also features piano, electronic drums and percussion. Next is Mystery Girl a gentle piano jazz waltz with brush drums and acoustic bass. The third piece is Honky Tonk Blues with the title reflecting the overall style and the final example is a lively piece called Bop to the Beat featurng electric and acoustic piano alternating leads.

Four examples of music that could be used for TV or video. First is a lively Quiz Show theme with xylophone, bright piano and snap ending. Sandy Beach is designed to convey a holiday mood with latin themes and percussion. Honky Tonk Blues is an up-tempo tune with ragtime/boogie piano feel whilst Bop to the Beat is a lively piece with electric piano and acoustic piano alternating the lead themes.

Piano Themes
Acoustic piano is a very atmospheric instrument for audio backgrounds so I have included a selection here for you to sample. The first tune, entitled Hand in Hand, is a reflective, moody piece with subtle tonal shifts. Moonlight Walk again is a reflective piece featuring piano with traces of background synth for added atmosphere. Mystery Girl is a slow jazz waltz with a mood of intense longing whilst Dream Ballad is a medium tempo piece with the piano combining with some background strings. Elegant Ballet is another slow waltz theme with gentle shifts and ornamentation and this particular piece is also available in a piano and string quartet version. Finally Twilight Meditation is a contemplative piece and once again the piano has some synth effects in the background for extra atmosphere.

Acoustic guitar-based music offers very effective mood creation in many films or videos and so I have included an example here. Moody Blue is a relaxed blues-style track with two acoustic guitars with gentle string background.

Romantic themes are often important in video presentation so I have selected a few suitable pieces often with string as a backdrop. First is Elegant Ballet this time with piano accompanied by a string quartet. Next Hand in Hand is a suitably reflective and romantic solo piano piece. The acoustic guitars of Moody Blue together with the background strings convey a dreamy atmosphere. Finally Twilight Meditation conveys a gentle and dreamy feel to add suitable background music.
