TCM012 Night
Breezes (Tony Cliff Music 2006) is a
three-movement suite for french horn or tenor horn and
string orchestra with a duration of just over 12 minutes.
The performance level is grade 8+ with dramatic and
virtuosic writing for the soloist in the outer movements
and many shifts between five, four and three beats to the
bar. The central movement is much more lyrical in nature.
Apart from the full score, the work includes transposed
parts for both french horn in F and tenor horn in Eb and
a full set of parts for string orchestra (violins I &
II, violas, violincellos and double basses). Please
